Touch Rugby- Did You Enjoy It?
For the last two weeks we have been having touch. We would always go out on Thursdays.
Our tutor was Trevor, he taught us how to play proper touch and he also taught us the skills in touch. I think that he is a really good tutor because all the skills that we went through he would always make sure that we we did it right.
For two weeks he taught us new things and I think that we picked up the moves really fast. I really liked how he told us the right things to do while playing touch because we didn't really play properly while we were having sports. The technique that I thought helped me with where to put the ball was when,
I think that Trevor did a well done job on coaching us.I really thank him. Our last day was fantastic because we got to play touch. First it was boys against boys then it was girls against girls. I was really happy with my team because we scored 2 tries while using teamwork and the skills that we learnt. Trevor was our coach in the game. My favorite part while playing touch was when Trevor tricked me into to tapping the ball and running for the try. Thanks for embarrassing me!

Changing The Garden
We have to start making decisions on what kind of plants we need to replace the old ones with new ones. I think that we have to make the right decisions on what plants we want because we need our garden to look good. Our garden has to look really WOW and also to make our class look SPECTACULAR!! Now. This is a flower that is to make the whole garden look colourful and this plant is called Tulips. These flowers are not the same as any other flower because these flowers are just so irresistible to stare at the whole time. I just hope that it will be enough to beat the other great ideas in this class. And Also thanks to the Tamaki College Students for digging out the plants that we don't need.

This condition occurs in less than 1 out of a million people. Boston's Children's Hospital have said they will not operate until her blood pressure comes down.

My Spooky Halloween Costume
For Halloween I am going to be a scarecrow. I thought of a scarecrow because I thought that it is a really easy costume to put together. All I need for my costume is NOTHING! Because I am just going to be using my clothes. I am going to be wearing jeans with my overalls and my flannel T-shirt. I think this is going to be a great costume to wear while I am going trick or treating. THIS IS A SCARECROW BY THE WAY!!. THANKS FOR LAUGHING:)

Big Mac Sold With A bite Out Of It!
There was a lady in Auckland that was hungry and decided to get something to eat. So she went to
McDonald's and got a big mac. Once she got her order all of a sudden she saw the her burger already had a bite through it. She took it back and got a new burger. The owners of McDonald's had to check the camera footage and they found out that the burger got bitten by a costumer. I bet that they lady was upset.

The Longest I have Ever Practiced
On Saturday I got told that we have dance practice and also singing practice for our family reunion in December. My grandmothers sisters family came over to practice with us. First we started by doing the dances. After spending a long time on the dances we moved onto the singing. I sang some of the high bits while we were singing. Man my voice was killing me it was like I couldn't talk properly. Finally we finished the longest practice I have ever had. YAY!

Looking Forward To Touch Rugby- YAY!
This term is going to be a very busy term, but the thing that I am looking forward to the most is touch rugby because it is a fun sport to play. Playing touch rugby isn't really a girls sport but there are some girls who play this. I've tried it before with my class and I like playing it. I also heard that there might be a touch rugby tournament. I am really excited for the touch rugby training to begin.

The Most Mind Blowing News Ever!
Blood Moon on the Horizon
Created on September 22, 2015
A Blood moon known as a ‘tetrad’ will take place on September 28th, which is just the fourth lunar eclipse in two years.
The rare event will make the moon look up to 14% larger because it is as close to the earth than it will ever be in its elliptical orbit. However there is a chance that the eclipse won’t be visible from New Zealand and as always viewing always depends on weather conditions.
So why will the moon be a ‘blood’ red color? When the earth eclipses a full moon the direct sunlight is blocked, but the suns rays still light up the moon. However this light has already traveled through the Earth's atmosphere first, and hence causing the totally eclipsed moon to look red or brownish.

The Rugby World Cup Presentation
For the past few weeks we got put into groups to make a presentation for the Rugby World Cup. My group was Maranatha, Pallas, Akanesi and Aydrian. I thought that it was good that we got to be a group because we worked really well together. My favorite slide on our group presentation was the haka slide. Pallas was the one who came up the idea for our haka page. I liked watching the haka's that the All Blacks did at the Rugby World Cup.

(Cindy&Josh)- Point England Play
Today after morning tea some of the students from room 9,10,11 and 12 got the opportunity to watch a play. The play that we were watching was a similar story to Cinderella. Instead of the name Cinderella it was called Josh and Cindy. There were different schools there to watch the act. My favorite part in the show that I really enjoyed was the dancing at the fake gym. At the end of the show Suliasi said a little thank you speech . I was lucky that I got picked to go and watch the show.

Myron Simpson
Myron Simpson
Today at our assembly we got a very special visit from the one and only Myron Simpson. He was here to talk to us about why it is good to read and how it helps you in life. Myron also told us when he first started his career and who inspired him to ride a bike. It was really awesome of him to let some of the children wear his equipment and one that could ride his aerodynamic bike. I was really surprised when he said that his bike costs $15,000 . My favorite part i was when he got the opportunity to give out the Duffy books out to the students. I enjoyed Myron coming to our school as our Duffy role model.

Madd Messenger
Yesterday room 11 and 12 went to room 8A because we had Petia from Madd Messenger came to our school to teach us to always believe in ourselves. Petia told us that whenever somebody has told us something negative we always would have to speak up. At the end of the session he drew a super hero Iron Man to show that we can be a hero yourselves. I thought that he was amazing.

Nephews 3rd Birthday.
On Saturday I went to my nephew’s 3rd birthday.
I helped blow up balloons, set the tables and helped with the cooking. I had been so busy I didn't even recognize that people were coming inside of the house. When I was cooking I took over the BBQ because my grandpa and uncle were too tired of standing up.

My Piano Masterpiece
For the past few weeks I have been working on a piano in woodwork at Tamaki College. It took a while but I finished it and it looks good. I planned out what it was going to look like. Then I worked my way from my plan to building it so it holds pencils too. I am so proud of myself for accomplishing this all by myself.
